KidX Privacy Policy

KidX is a school management app for principals, admins, teachers, and students. This policy explains what information the app may collect, why it is used, and how users can contact support.
Information We Collect
KidX may collect and store information needed to run school workflows, including:
- User name, email address, phone number, school ID, and role
- Demo requests submitted through the KidX website, including school name, contact person, phone, email, city/state, approximate student count, preferred demo time, and optional notes
- School profile details such as school name, address, contact details, logo, and academic year
- Student profile details such as name, roll number, class, guardian details, and attendance records
- Teacher profile details such as name, email, phone number, subject, assigned classes, and approval status
- Fee records, payment records, receipts, exam records, marks, report cards, holidays, and notices
- App usage and diagnostic information through Firebase services
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- Authenticate users and provide role-based access
- Manage school, class, student, teacher, attendance, fee, exam, report card, holiday, and notice workflows
- Generate PDFs and share school records when requested by authorized users
- Send in-app or push notifications related to school activity
- Improve app reliability, security, and product quality
Data Sharing
KidX does not sell user data. Data may be shared only when required to provide app functionality, such as Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, analytics, crash reporting, and user-initiated sharing through Android options such as WhatsApp, email, or PDF sharing.
Schools and authorized users are responsible for deciding what records they enter and share from the app.
Data Storage and Security
KidX uses Firebase services to store and process app data. Access is controlled through authentication, role-based app behavior, and school-scoped records. No system can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable safeguards are used to protect school data.
Children and Student Data
KidX may contain student records entered by schools. The app is intended for use by schools, school staff, and authorized student or guardian accounts. Schools are responsible for obtaining any required permissions before entering or managing student information.
Data Deletion
Users can request account or data deletion by contacting support. Schools may also remove records they manage inside the app where the app provides that control.
